Junos Pulse Failed to Connect

Recently the Juniper Networks Junos Pulse client software I use to connect to a piece of work VPN stopped working on my MacBook Pro running OS X x.eight.5, aka "Mountain Lion". Later the problem first occurred, whenever I started the Junos Pulse program which is at version 5.0.3, I would see a window with no connections listed whereas previously I would run across the work VPN connection with a Connect push button to the right of information technology. So I clicked on the plus sign, i.e. +, at the bottom left-mitt corner of the window to add a new connection, since the client seemed to have "forgotten" the information for the VPN. I left the blazon set to "UAC or SSL-VPN" and put in the server URL, which was in the form of https://fqdn where fqdn is the fully qualified domain proper noun (FQDN) for the VPN server. I then gave the connexion a name in the "Proper name" field.

Merely whenever I so clicked on the Connect or Add button in the Junos Pulse client, I would run across the message below:

Junos Pulse

Failed to connect to the Juniper Unified Network Service.

Junos Pulse - Failed to Connect

I checked the log for the Junos Pulse VPN client software at /private/var/log/Juniper Networks/Logging/debuglog.log and saw many "'JamUI' Connection to UIModelService plugin failed - service may not be running" letters.

I had tried the steps at Junos Pulse VPN Client Issue on Mac Os Ten a couple of days ago when the problem outset started, since I had been able to resolve a prior problem with the Junos Pulse client awarding with those steps. This time I entered but the commands below:

$ sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/net.juniper.AccessService.plist Password: $ launchctl load -due west /Library/LaunchAgents/cyberspace.juniper.pulsetray.plist

I so saw the following in the JunOS Pulse window:

Junos Pulse Disconnected

When I clicked on the Connect button, I saw "Failed" announced in the Junos Pulse customer window.

Junos Pulse Failed

When I clicked on the pencil icon, which appears to the right of the plus and minus signs at the bottom of the Junos Pulse client window, to edit the information for the VPN server, I saw the Name and Server URL fields were blank. The Save push was at present appearing rather than the Add button, though. I filled in those fields with the information I had entered before and clicked on Connect.

Junos Pulse Save button available

I was and so able to connect successfully to the VPN. I had to disconnect in order to be able to salvage the data. Subsequently disconnecting, I clicked on the pencil icon to edit information technology and chose Save.
